Hi, I’m Joanne 😉

Sacred Joanne is all about symbols and how we can better understand AND use them to improve our lives.

I started Sacred Joanne out of necessity, more than anything else. It was a necessity to create, to produce, to become a vessel of the divine whisper, and hopefully, to inspire people to be better.

Throughout my life, I have always struggled with identity. Perhaps that’s due to the avalanche of Gemini in my natal chart (moon, mercury, and mars) – lol.

I’ve been through sexual and emotional abuse in my childhood, which perhaps played a role in my struggle with identity as well.

As life went on, my ability to connect with people took a hit. Trusting others was always an issue, you know… And trusting myself? Even harder.

So, when I talk about Sacred Joanne being a necessity, I refer to my soul’s need to communicate, connect, inspire, and express myself in ways I previously could not.

I had no grand hopes or intentions with it. But I fell in love with creating content around the topics I love. But why Astrology, Personality Types, and Esoteric Content?

I like to think of these things as frameworks for self-understanding. They’re nothing more than fun, engaging tools that helped me reflect on my life, my choices, my relationships, my shortcomings, my strengths…

And I found great value in that.

My early professional background is very different from what you might think. I graduated in engineering… WHAT? Yeah, you heard that right.

This is probably the INTP in me talking, LOL. But I was always an artist. As time went on, I started to dive deeper into psychology, alternative, and holistic therapy…

And it helped me a lot to deal with my demons and whatnot.

Eventually, I transitioned from receiving these therapies to practicing them myself, extending help to people close to me. I feel incredibly fortunate that they placed their trust in me.

And I never felt so good helping others overcome whatever barriers they had, helping others understand themselves better, helping others build better relationships, etc.

Even though I “put myself out there” with this site, I’m very shy and don’t really like exposing myself… But the rewards are worth it.

Sacred Joanne is a place for those who feel lost, confused, hopeless, and for those who need inspiration. It’s for people who struggle with identity and relationships. I want to create a place where people can discover themselves in a fun way and offer practical advice to improve their lives.

I have way more questions than answers, but I’m willing to dig deep into these questions and share my humble discoveries with the world.

Mind over matter, they say. You have to know yourself. And that’s what I am here for.

To help people understand themselves better, to see the divine light inside everyone, to acknowledge the shadow inside each of us too, and what we can do about it.

It’s all about making the journey of discovering who you are fun and engaging.

I think the world today frowns upon anyone who is more metaphysically oriented. Everything should be scientific, and anything that does not align with that is discarded.

I strongly disagree.

I embrace the metaphysical, the symbols of this world that cannot be measured by scientific methods.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing people resonate with my content, and I want to keep improving.
